Plaza Bali in Indonesia

Description

Plaza Bali is located at Sockarno-Hatta International Airport. It has been in operation since 1991. PLAZABALI is a duty-free shop known for it’s unique experience while combining vigorous Bali culture and a comfortable, relaxing shopping experience inside the airport. A variety of duty-free goods and friendly multilingual services will provide tourists a brand new shopping experience before boarding the plane. This shop originally used traditional CCTV equipments, but this time, the shop owner had a new requirement for surveillance.

Besides improving image quality, there are two more objectives. The first one is to send Push Status through alarm-in trigger so that the management personnel can instantly understand the first-hand situation inside key areas of the shop and will contact personnel when a situation occurs. The second one is to use the Buddy function from EZ Networking to share device access to important personnel for shop management.

The client also required a system update without replacing the original CCTV coaxial cable; we planned an update installation with the HDCCTV 2MP products and divided the entire surveillance area into two parts, indoor and outdoor. Inside the shop, we used 20 DG103A with 1080P Full HD resolution. In the outdoor public area, 12 DG105A were placed to go with four 8CH HD CCTV DVRs inside the machine room and HDM02 was used to combine and show each DVR’s images. This provides the easiest, fastest and most cost-down way to integrate each system for central surveillance. AVX916R is additionally used to send surveillance images to the cashier via a coaxial cable. Clerks will be able to check the situation in every corner without leaving his or her post.

In this case, we used the most economical way to achieve the most effective monitoring and provide a referenceable solution for related cases in the future.
